Most of the works in our concert programs are pieces that we arrange ourselves for our ensembles. These pieces are usually originally compositions for solo organ or symphonic works for orchestra. We take great care to ensure that the pieces lose none of their impact and expressiveness. Ferruccio Busoni wrote in "Outline of a New Aesthetic of Music" (1907): "Transcription: currently a rather misunderstood, almost disgraceful term. It is overlooked that a transcription does not destroy the original version, so there is no loss of the original through the transcription." Transcriptions are a new addition, an enrichment. You will find our arrangements for various ensembles in the tables below. If you find what you are looking for, simply contact us at noten@fehse-wilfert.de or use our contact form. Happy browsing!
